Do you consider the sleep sack a swaddle?
I never thought of this until now and read that if you still swaddle past 6 months you are holding your LO back from learning to crawl and other skills, etc. I don't swaddle anymore but I use the sleep sack like it's a blanket. . .
Do you consider this still swaddling?
(p.s. he will go to sleep without it, so he doesn't need it to fall asleep)

nope I just consider it a "safe" blanket. My DD was in a sleepsack until she was well over 1 and had no problem with crawling or walking. I don't think it held her back at all. She was walking before one.

no, because it is loose. DS was never swaddled but used a sleepsack til age 1 and he crawled at 6 mos.
