Do you eat leftovers?
growing up, i always had leftovers. my mother always cooked too much. dh doesn't care for it. i don't mind having leftovers

I never know if my DH ate lunch so I make a little extra for dinner, take leftovers for lunch - in my mind, that makes lunch free.

To those of you who don't - why not? It's still food - lol! Saves making another meal or lunch!
What do you do with leftover food - throw it out?
Or do you not have leftovers because you only cook exact portions?

i love leftovers. DH cooks big and we take left overs for lunch or quick dinners during the week when we dont have time to cook.

I cant stand leftovers except frozen sauce.
Dh loves leftovers- so eat eats them for lunch the next day.
eta- I feel like leftovers never taste the same microwaved- to me microwave steals alot of the original taste and texture.

we eat leftovers prett often.... especially when we make one of rachel rays pastas- they use a whole box of pasta, which is waay too much for 2 people- so we pack up the rest and 2 days later have it, and i dno't have to cook!

we make exact portions, or close to it anyway.
when I lived alone I cooked enough for 2 meals and ate the leftovers another day. since we moved in together, not at all.

I love leftovers! Depending on how much we have, they make a great lunch to take to work, or another yummy dinner.
Either way, it saves me the time of preparing something else...we all know how much I love to cook!

Not really but depends what it is. I'll eat leftover pasta, like baked ziti, pizza and also soups taste better the next day. I won't eat reheated meat at all.
