Re: Do you ever worry the gender you were told was incorrect?

After I got all boys stuff at our shower, DH sister kept saying that there could be a mistake and it could be a girl (she is very annoying). Now I keep worrying but the tech assured me last time that there was no mistake so I feel a little better.

It happened to my friend last year! She was told girl, had a pink shower, got al girl stuff, painted nursery, etc. She had a boy!

My friend too. Pink and purple shower. Purple nursery. Lots of personalized gifts that said Madison. Room painted lavendar and purple carpet. AND....out comes a boy. They were stunned.

There's that commercial on TV with the baby named Danielle and how her mommy was expecting Daniel but the store let them return all the clothes (no clue which store lol) -- I said to DH last night "does that happen ever anymore???"

It was a commercial for Kohl's and it freaked DH and I out because we're all set for our Lil Daniel!!

You ladies are making me nervous! I had "girl" confirmed for three different sonos. We even asked again yesterday at my 35 week appointment!!!!!!! I just cant help but worry. My first Sono the Sono tech actually said "my best possible guess is girl" and this was at my 20 week Sono. I was thinking, What is that supposed to mean?!?! They confirmed twice after though and said "definitely".

worry... no. But wonder, yes. I have accepted I'll be having a boy - would be thrilled if he was a she, but I think it would be so weird after thinking "he" all this time!!

I freak at every sono when the tech says, "So, do you know what you are having?" like she can't tell! I'm sure it's so she doesn't say the gender to those gender neutral folks but it still scares me. Every time I say boy and she hasn't corrected me yet!

I know MIL is hoping they are wrong! Chat Icon
