Do you feel like you have learned and grown?

Over the last 2 years I feel I have become a completly different person (wish I could say the same for some of my "friends" they never learn...still catty, still mean and still bar hopping).
Anyway, do you think you are the same person and if not, what do you think has been your biggest change?

For me, I think the biggest change for me is that I laugh at a LOT more than I used to. I realized some things or some people are just not that important of desrving of my emotions. I have learned to let the crap just roll off me or as Jay-Z said "You gotta get, that, dirt off your shoulder"

I think I have grown a lot. I've realized a lot more about my own limitations. I stopped taking on too much. I've learned to assert myself more in some situations.

im still working on it.

ive turned into a much more empathetic person in real life.

i take fewer risks.

im realizing that outward appearances dont mean anything.

im trying to be a non- flake with my plans.

im trying to never lie- because its alot easier to tell the truth

things like that.

Yes I have...ever since I got married I have been more true to myslef ..or maybe I'm not explaining myself...I think I'm nicer now not that I was mean before I'm a better person now

most definitely. i think any major change or obstacle in someones life can change them, espacially for the better, if they have an open mind.

No - I did most of my growing/changing after my father passed away 9 years ago. I sense another change coming on as we are TTC and I am nearing the end of my career. I am trying not to sweat the small stuff as much - but it's hard!

Yes on certain things, and still working on other things.

I feel I am more mature, and taking on more responsibility.

I work harder, and taking more risks

I need to work on my budgeting better, and priorities better

yes...in alot of ways...i'm definitely not the same person i was a year ago.

i've learned you shouldn't let people sway your opinion of strangers; don't trust everyone; and toxic relationships will never work.
i'm much happier now.

I feel like i grown alot.... I changed my job which I dont regret one bit, the people are nicer and More hours to. also I do find myself not getting 'upset' at stuff anymore, i will admit i still have my downfalls and slip once in a while BUT again its less than what i use to be.... I learned alot from people and now I know who my 'true ' friends are and who is not and those people who are 'not' my friend i could care less they are the people i just wont care about. But overall I grown alot during last year and I am still growing and learning everyday and I am not ashame of that.

I have definitly changed since breakng up with my ex. I am learning that its ok for me to stand up for myself and that sometimes I have to put me first and not worry about putting everyone else first. Secondly, I have learned that sometimes people that you think are your friends will be the ones to let you down. In that case, I have learned to move on and appreciate my true friends.

I definitely feel like I've learned alot of things over the past year about myself and my reaction towards others. I didn't know how strong I really was and never thought I would actually willingly go through surgery. I also never thought I would go through with filing for divorce. However, lines are sometimes drawn in the sand and you have to do what's best for you (and in my case, the best for my child as well). I feel like my reactions towards others has changed. I've become more forgiving, more tolerable and more open minded.

I've also learned that there is universal justice and that people typically get what's coming to them without getting myself worked up over there behavior and actions. Let it go...

Gotta say, it's been an awesome year thus far

I am all grown up now

Seriously, I have changed so much in the past two years

-Total career change...took that head on and I am now so happy I took the leap
-Getting through a difficult pregnancy with two broken ankles while student teaching taught me that I can really handle whatever is thrown my way
-Having the Animal has taught me love on a level I never imagined. She has me laughing everyday, something I didn't do before she came.

I have learned to not sweat the small stuff, take care of those close to you and I have learned most of all that if people want to talk bad about you, they will and I am that much happier not to be associated with them, or else my life would be filled with pathetic bitterness

yes, especially every since I became a mom.

it's weird but although I have matured somewhat, there are still things I need to learn from and stop acting like a little girl.

I have been through some very hard times in the last few years, and it taught me what is really important to me

Funny you should post this...when I was walking Casey before I was thinking to myself that I have grown a lot professionally and personally in the past 2 years...I feel totally different.

yes. I think that I have had experiences in the last 2 years that have made me learn, grow & change.
Losing my mother and then becoming a mother in a very short period of time did it for me.
I have come to realize and see the difference between whats really important and what's just BS in life!
I think that experiencing tribulation forces you to appreciate the "simple" things you wouldve have notied before!

I have grown sure....Recently..No not so much. Not much opportunity to.

Learned...Yes....too much I sometimes think.

Most definitely! My dad dying unexpectedly 6 years ago leaving me without any close family changed me completely. Then my exhusband deciding he didn't want to be married after being together 6.5 years and married 10 months leaving me once again familyless....was a definitely life changing.

I have learned there are no guarantees in life and some things you just don't have control over. I have learned WHO I really am and how strong I can be.

I know I've changed over the past two years and it has all been for the better.

I think my outlook on life and people has changed. I no longer have the patience for people who don't have goals and are always blaming others for their problems or lack of success. I also have no time for negativity because life is too short to always look for the problems in every situation.

I care less what people who don't truly matter think of me.

I've learned to appreciate the small surprises in life.

I laugh more and don't worry so much.
