Re: Do you feel like you have learned and grown?
Yes, I have. In a way I feel like a small part of me has lost of my innocence and unfaltering trust in people, particularly my family and some friends.
It was a hard process, but in the end, my perspective changed. I have learned that my true TRUE family is the one that I've picked - the friends that have been there for me during the hardest times of my life this past year, and most importantly, my husband and my daughter. I've learned that they are truly the most important people, they ARE my family and my hope for the future.
So, now, when someone ticks me off, or something bothers me, instead of taking it out on the people who love me unconditionally and who have been there for me in ways that I could never have fathomed, I try to approach it head-on with the person who started the problem, or just let it go, because at the end of the day, my life is wonderful, and I'm not letting anyone or anything interfere with that.

Re: Do you feel like you have learned and grown?
Yes I have learned so much over the past 2 years... Of course there is always room for improvement but I think I am well on my way to becoming a better person.
What I have learned: Is to appreciate what I have and stop wanting what I don't have. I have learned to not sweat the small stuff as much.. I am a very lucky person and all the little things are really no big deal. I have learned to except my family and DH's family for what they are.. which isn't perfect but that is OK neither am I. I have let go of a lot of anger and restatement towards people… Everything and every person has shaped who I am today and you know what I like who I am. I have stopped playing the "poor me game" (which was a hard one to give up..lol)

Re: Do you feel like you have learned and grown?
I grew up a lot over the last 2 years and I think that it has a lot to do with everything that has been going on in my life the last 2 years. I got engaged and married within the past year, I got a wonderful job that I love and I know I can be here for many, many years, and DH & I bought our house a little over a year ago and that helped me become aware of my money and spending. I am so happy going home to DH at night and sitting next to him on the couch and watching tv (even if it is sports). Trust me we go out with our friends at least twice a month on Friday for happy hour, but we are usually home by 10 or 11pm. We go out to dinner with our friends now rather than bars and it is just nice. I love the stage our lives are in right now!!!

I have definitely changed, and I have realized that what is important in the end has always been important & that I cannot let others drag me down.

I have grown and learned so much in the past two years. Just becoming a mother is an experience you can't help but learn and grow from.
