Do you feel pressured to add things to your registry from employees at the store?
I know they are doing their jobs BUT it really pi$$es me off. This happened the other day.
It's none of your damn business if I have more than one registry and don't lecture me on what I need to add...I got it!

I never felt pressured to put anything on the registry. The showed us how to use the "gun" and let us be.

Well first when I got the gun the woman said so how is the registry going? I said fine, so she said let me look at tell you how it's going..UM excuse me??? She then rattled off all of the things I needed to add and ask me if I would be breast feeding.
Then when I handed in the gun she lectured me and asked if this was my only registry I said "yes" but that was a lie. She shook her head and said I better start adding more things.

No. I actually found the people at BBB to be really helpful. I have been back several times to add some stuff and they ask if we need help and if I say "no thanks" they walk away.

Re: Do you feel pressured to add things to your registry from employees at the store?
something similar to this happened to me while registering at BRU. The salesperson made this snide comment when I scanned the Dr. Brown's bottles "oh, this must be your first" me: "yea, how'd you tell" BRU: "because all the new moms register for those, because they're lazy These curved ones are better for the baby..."
Anyway, I just appeased her by scanning the ones she recommended, then took them off when i got home.

I never had this happen to me. I actually had the opposite when I returned the gun & she said "wow, you got so much done the first day of doing this" & my response was "I was well prepared!"
Sorry this happened to you

No, this didnt happen to me either. But I registered with my husband and my sister. She pointed, he scanned, and I nodded in agreement. I guess we didn't look like we needed help!
Sorry this happened to you. It would really annoy me too!

Pressure...no thankfully. I had one woman give her opinon on carseats, but we already had one on the registry. I let her talk - didn't change my opinion in our choice.
