I feel like I need to add more stuff to my registry...

We basically have all of our major big things already, since our family has purchased all of this stuff so that we have it immediately.

But in looking at the registry, we have lots of little things, but not too much in the $40 to $60 range, which I feel is the "sweet spot" for gift giving range. Of course people can buy a couple of things-- but, should I add more stuff?

I seriously labored over my registry and only put stuff on there that I would want/need. We live in an apt, and I do not want too much stuff here anyway-- plus, there is so much stuff that I just think is excessive.

Our gifts won't start coming in til word starts to spread that the baby has been born... I just am not sure what to do-- and if I add stuff, WHAT do I add????

I am in the same boat only having a shower before babies come. I had no big items left because family and friends shopped early(some before invites went out). I worked hard on registry LOL so I hated just adding dumb things....I added a few "bigger" iitems that we will need a little further down the road....HTH

add the things you'd use... perhaps clothes in 3-6,6-9,9-12 months... and gift cards(at BRU an employee can add gift cards for you)...

I am in the same boat as you and we are not finding out either. We have limited space and do not want unnecessary things. My girlfriend said that instead of adding more stuff that you don't want or need, if there isn't much left on the registry, many people will give gift cards which are great for buying diapers, wipes and formula and/or seasonal items you may not have thought of, or clothes for the next season.

You could always add some books, CDs or DVDs...

Do you have a Baby Book on there?

Other item: orgnazing things, hangers, sippy cups etc for later?
