Do you find that being a Mom of twins...
you are less hovering then Moms of just one?
For instance, I let my girls go down the slide (at Gymboree) without assistance. But then I see other Mom's being so cautious with their child. Supporting them down the slide.... holding their hands. I feel bad :( Does anyone feel like this?

I can't answer this since I have not delivered yet, but I wanted to say that your babies are absolutely adorable! I was looking at the photo in your profile.

I find myself to be the opposite, I think I am more hovering and over protective than other moms. Sometimes I feel bad that I never let them walk into a store or out to the car but I'm always afraid one of them will 'get away' from me. They only get some freedom on the weekends when daddy is around.

I dont think that os hovering too much. Dont feel bad, i dodnt even feel comforatbale yet to let them walk by themselvs in a store. I do find myslef more laid back than many moms.

I am exactly like this!! Unless I have reinforcements (aka dh) they never get to walk into a store.

Yeah I feel bad about that too. On occasion I have taken them to the store individually, and that was fun!
As for a Gymboree class, yes its impossible to hover over so I guess I have to be more laid back than others.

Re: Do you find that being a Mom of twins...
I totally feel this way, but I think it's my nature too to be a little hands off. My feeling is I will of course try my best to keep my kids out of trouble and to be careful when the time comes, but I also believe kids learn what not to do when they try things on their own. Having two makes it a lot more evident I think.
I will say I am less likely to judge any mother now that I have two.

I hover, I am alwasy so scared that one will get away from me, that I find that I want them to be so close and right there.
I also found that I would never let them out of the stroller or the wagon.
