Never even thought about it. Been driving, cycling, running and walking over bridges my whole life.
I have a co-worker who is afraid of bridges and tunnels...but she's also afraid of flying, riding in elevators alone, vegetables, the list goes on and on and on...
Who the fcuk is afraid of vegetables? maybe its cruel, but people like that annoy me
Oh this woman is beyond annoying. I was kinda kidding about the veggies. She isn't actually afraid of them, she just hates them and refuses to eat any. She has way too many idiosyncrasies for any human being.

No... but the first time i drove over the Marine Parkway Bridge my friend was with me and im pretty sure she was petrified... she was giving me updates about how far i had gone over the bridge, as if, I, THE DRIVER, didnt know... lol

Bridges, along with spiders, are my biggest phobia. It's all about being in a submerged car for me after the bridge collapses. I have panic attacks every time so DH talks about fluffy kittens romping in meadows to me!  I create a contingency plan in my head on how I'm going to get my kids out of the car seats.
The Kosciuszko bridge is my absolute LEAST favourite.
Don't worry because the chances of surviving a fall into a river from a bridge are very slim. The impact would either kill you straightaway or knock you unconscious. As an example, the center of the Queensboro Brdige is approximately 13 stories above the water. Try driving a car off the roof of a 13-story building....

I used to be TERRIFIED of bridges. Now that I have to drive over them to get to work, I have almost completely gotten over the fear. I just won't drive in the right lane.

I'm not a great fan of big bridges - but I'm generally okay. The only ones that kind of wig me out around here are the Whitestone and the Verrazano, Whitestone because it's narrow and Verrazano because it's so friggin' long. And the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel.. that thing FREAKS me out!!

Not a fear persay but I prefer to drive on the inside and I hate to be stuck on traffic on a bridge..that freaks me a little.

I hate driving over bridges cause I have a fear of the Ocean! Everytime I have to go over a bridge my hands start shaking and my heart starts ponding!!! One fear I can not face and really don't want to!!!!

Driving over bridges doesn't bother me, but I know plenty of people who do have that fear, and some who won't do it at all.

Gotta be in the left or middle lane.
DH ended up taking the very outer lane on the 59th St bridge a few years ago (w/out realizing--b/c to him its like second nature).
You wanna talk about a full fledge panic attack! WHOA!

You never know though do ya? At least I hope I never know. You know that movie with Will Smith, iRobot? That's my worst fear. Come to think of it, I have an irrational fears of humanoid robots as well, which DH mocks. So that whole movie is a nightmare. Robots and submerged cars....ew.
