we have 1 in the kitchen (which isn't too bad right now since i cleaned it out a couple of months ago and havent really added to it too much) and then the drawer in our coffee table could be described as a junk drawer i guess.

I have 2 junk drawers. One in my kitchen and one is a bin in my closet. Just random stuff that has no other place or it will get lost. I try to limit the kitchen one to stuff my DH might need in addition to stuff I need immediately (cellphone chargers, camera USB wires, zip ties, ponytail holders for my DD, etc.) and the one in the bedroom is more obscure stuff that we will otherwise never be able to find when needed.

I have 2 junk drawers. One in the kitchen- it was a bread drawer years ago and I would NEVER put bread in there now (the woman we bought the house from was a pig!). It has menus, coupons, glue, flashlights, cat stuff, etc in there. The second is in the table at the entryway to our house. It has cell chargers, batteries, gift cards, credit cards, etc.

I have a junk drawer. It's not actually "junk" just odds and ends that are important but random. But, honestly, without a "junk" drawer I don't know what I would do with all that stuff!
