Do you have benadryl in your house in case of emergency ?
I took a CPR class & they suggested stocking Benadryl in your house, in case your infant has an allergic reaction. You can administer before the ambulance arrives.
I never thought of this.

Yes.
I even carry it on me at work or anywhere else, just in case if I ever get an allergic reaction or someone else does.
I've heard people can eat peanuts or fish all their life & then suddenly become allergic to them.
I'm a freak & am afraid of my throat closing up or my tongue swelling, so I make it a point to always have it.

Yes I did, but now I actually carry it in my diaper bag instead just in case.

Yes, I have both childrens AND adults. You never know when you might need it. I think allergies can change every 10-15 years- so even as an adult you have to be careful. My father ate strawberries for MANY years and one day in his 30's when I was little he suddenly got severe hives and had swelling. DH always eats seafood and has had crab many times over the years - but when we were 1st together about 12 or 13 years ago - his father took us out to lunch to celebrate something and DH had a few bites of my soft shell crabs. 6 hours later his face was covered in huge hives and his face swelled up like a balloon and we had to rush him to the ER. They did blood work and confirmed the crab allergy.
When I was a child (3 years old) my mom gave me something with mustard (I had had mustard before) and my lips suddenly swelled up like a balloon. Luckily she used to be a nurse and knew what to do - but because of the above instances I always have non expired bottles in my house for emergencies only.

Yes. I keep one bottle in my house and one bottle in my diaper bag for when we're out and about.

Yes....in my diaper bag and at home. DS has an allergic reaction to something when we was about 5 months (still have no idea what) and i didn't have it in the house.....I had to run out with him to get it. Won't let that happen again!!!

YES, I have severe food allergies(I have an epi-pen too) so I am always very cautious with this.

yes, we didnt when DS was a baby and then on his 1st birthday, he had an allergic reaction to eggs and we had to run to the store to buy some. Ever since then we have it in the house at all times

Yes, but only because I had to send my husband out in the evening about 3 weeks ago after Noah had roseola and I thought he was having an allergic reaction to something!!!

I do, the perfect measure is great for the diaper bag if your kids are big enough.
The other thing that I make it a point to do is ask the ped for their dosage at each well visit (especially when they are little and still growing quickly). DD had an allergic reaction on a weekend and it took some time to call the answering service and have the dr call back.
