A Positive- I worked for the NYBlood Center for about a year but used to give blood all the time before that
Your new MD will do a whole Complete Blood Count (CBC) when you go for your physical..

I had major surgery when I was 11 for a semi blood related problem, my doctor made me memorize it. Which was pretty easy since I was O+.
I *think* DH is A+, but I can never get a straight answer out of him, I should check his dogtags since they are in my jewelry box

it's the one that can give to anyone.
You're O negative (so am I) - You're the universal donor and can give to anyone, but you can only receive 0 negative blood.

Yes, I know mine, my DH's and my kids. But I admit I didnt know mine till about 8 years ago when I gave blood the first time. I didnt know my kids so when they were getting routine blood tests, I had the dr include blood type test in the scrip. I guess I learned what it was back in HS biology but I didnt remember.
My DH is B+ which is so funny bc he is a very positive person. He likes to tease me that mine is B- (to which I reply STFU bc it's not LOL)
