Re: Do you limit drinking when you are home with your husband and children?
What?!? I drink more BECAUSE I have children!
But I guess my actual answer is yes and no. Ever since becoming a mom I have no desire to get drunk because I've got to face the music in the morning. However, I will have 2-3 glasses of wine while my DH enjoys a scotch or two. I still have my wits about me. But after Abby had the seizure last month, I do think twice about becoming tipsy.

Pre baby I used to be able to share a whole bottle of wine with DH (it's really only like 2 big glasses ), but now I always get the 'what-ifs' after one glass.

I just don't like being "drunk" or "tipsy" in front of the kids. I like to limit the wine to when dh and I go out alone. I just remind myself of the calories anyway and ask myself if I am really going to enjoy it- with the kids there. The answer is a resounding no!
