no, he gets whatever we eat--and he usually loves it!

She has been eating the same thing as us since she started eating table food at 8 months.

Re: Do you make a special meal for your toddler at night?
A majority of the time he eats what we eat (I cook early and DH heats stuff up later) If he isn't feeling it, usually we try leftovers and thats it, I don't cook something else

Re: Do you make a special meal for your toddler at night?
Yes, most of the time I do make him his own meals.
My DS has food allergies so between what he can eat, and what he will eat, we are very limited.
Before we found out about the allergies he ate what we were eating.

Re: Do you make a special meal for your toddler at night?
DD is 3 & has always been an amazing eater. She's difficult with everything else but boy does she love food! She eats burritos, stromboli, stir fry, edamame, everything. Her favorite meal is grilled chicken, rice and mixed veggies. I'm grateful because I hear stories from my friends about their kids eating only goldfish & chicken nuggets. I think some of it is genetic- you can try so hard as a parent to expose them to new foods & some kids just fight it.

Re: Do you make a special meal for your toddler at night?
Depends on the time of the week... dh works nights and is only home for dinner 2 nights a week... so on those nights i make alot of left overs and eat them throughout the week... but by the end of the week there isnt enough left to eat so ds then gets a special meal and i typically eat cereal or order chinese

Sometimes... - if DH and I are eating late - if we are eating something spicy - if we are eating something unhealthy
but most of the time he eats what we eat

Re: Do you make a special meal for your toddler at night?
Sometimes she eats what we eat, but sometimes she doesn't want what we're eating and I make her something different!

Re: Do you make a special meal for your toddler at night?
DD will only eat pasta or occasionally chicken nuggets.
I always try to give her what we are eating, but she doesn't.
So annoying.

My theory I am not a short order cook you eat what we eat which is always a well balanced meal.

Re: Do you make a special meal for your toddler at night?
DD's not a big eater so I do make her what I know she will eat.
