No we have always opened on Christmas morning/day. Usually after mass. My parents were meanies and even when we were little had to wait until after mass..haha

My kids get pj's every year to open on Eve. We wake up early on Day, open up Santa, my gifts and whatever they have gotten in the mail from grandma, etc.
Then at 10am they go to their dad's.

Christmas Eve is at my MIL's with her family so any gift exchanges with them only is done that night. We exchange gifts with my ILs on Christmas day though along with my parents. We open gifts for each other Christmas morning.

Yep!  But we wait until midnight. In the past two years, we've done Christmas Eve with my parents AND my IL's and we've opened gifts prior to midnight.
This year we're not spending it together and DH has to work on Christmas day so he can't stay up until midnight. So we'll probably open presents on Christmas Eve in the evening.

When I lived at home, my sister and I FINALLY convinced my parents to let us open ONE gift each on Christmas Eve. And we see my aunts and uncles on Christmas Eve so I get gifts from my godfather and godmother (I can't get them to stop buying me presents, even though I'm 30!).

Yes. I spend Christmas eve at my parents house and see my brother, SIL and niece and my aunts and uncles and cousins...we exchange gifts with them.
On Christmas morining I will exchange with my BF and then we will spend the day with his fam and exchange.

No never!
When we were kids we begged to open one present on CHristmas Eve, always from an family as Santa's present were never under the tree until Christmas morning.
Now we go to the Inlaws for the Eve and we exchange all our gifts that night. EVeryone brings them home and puts then under the tree. Children usually pass out in the car so Santa visits shortly after.
About 6am the coffee is brewing and my dog is whining because he is the first one under the tree! DH and DS stagger out and the unwrapping fest lasts until 10-11am.
I CANNOT Wait!!!

When we were kids we always waited til Christmas morning after Santa came. My sis,bro and I would exchange Christmas eve because we were so anxious and excited!
DH's family opens presents at midnight on Christmas Eve. the kids get woken and told santa came when they were sleeping. We will open our gifts from them on Christmas Eve when we go to see them (in Brooklyn) and then everything else Christmas morning.

Christmas morning we open our presents with the kids.
then go to my parents, and open with them and my sisters.

We will open gifts with my family on Xmas eve. The kids will get to open gifts their receive from my brother & his family. DH & I sometimes exchange after the kids go to bed. They will open theirs on christmas day - Santa gifts are unwrapped and this year I am wrapping some of their gifts from us and to each other. Then they will open gifts with DH's family later that day.

We do - that's when we see DH's aunt and uncle and cousins so they get their gifts and we open what they give us.
However, all parent and spouse gifts are reserved for Christmas morning. The anticipation is killing me but it's so worth it!
Pretty much the same...since we see Inlaws on Eve.

My family always opened presents on Christmas Eve at midnight (when we were little we'd get back up after Santa came by) and did our stockings Christmas morning.
Once I was an adult and hosted my mom on Eve, we'd see how late we'd be able to stay up and pretty much give up and open around 9pm! 
Now that we have a child, I guess we'll need to figure out how we want to do it (DH's family is a Christmas morning gift opening crew!)

I was always allowed to open one gift from my parents on Christmas Eve after Mass.
Then Christmas morning my brother and I would get up and open our stockings. Then Mom and Dad would make us wait until they had coffee and Dad ate leftover cold fish from Christmas Eve dinner and then we needed to make sure we had a garbage bag for the wrapping paper...and...and...
finally we would start opening.
When IL's were living here, we would open presents with them because Polish tradition is that they open gifts when they see the first star in the sky on Christmas Eve. Then we would open our presents the next morning and then go see my parents after that.
Since IL's have moved back to Poland and we have DD, Christmas Eve and Day is with my parents, but we have our own little gift opening just the three of us at home.

Growing up, we got one present on Christmas Eve, usually PJs and then we opened everything on Christmas morning.
Now, we do presents on Christmas morning. A few times we've opened 1 on Christmas Eve, but mostly we save them all for Christmas morning. It's just how I've always done it and always want to do it in my house.
Extended family gifts are exchanged when we see each other -- sometimes Christmas Eve, sometimes after Christmas.

Christmas morning - me and DH
Christmas afternoon - we go to my mom's and open gifts there with my parents, aunt/uncle and cousins.
When was growing up - no gifts were open Christmas Eve no matter how hard I begged!! All gifts were open Christmas morning after Santa comes.

DH and I exchange on Christmas eve afternoon. Its the only time we have alone together where we're not worried about shuttling here/there/everywhere.
We exchange with our extended families Christmas Eve night, then immediate families Christmas day (in the afternoon)

No never!!! Santa hasn't come yet! It's not Christmas!!! though when I have kids I want to do the PJs on Christmas Eve thing.
This year, though, the in-laws for some reason think we won't have time to open presents before we go to DH's aunt's house (leave at 3 p.m. and it is 5 adults ) so we are opening presents there Christms Eve. Then going to church.
It seems so wrong, and I am so upset that I am not going to spending Christmas Eve evening relaxing in my own home (I have to work too so I will hardly be home that day!)
So, no, I never open gifts on Christmas Eve, and I hate that I am being forced to this year!!!

As kids we were allowed to open ONE gift on Xmas eve. It was family of course not Santa.
I know my brother and I used to agonize over which one to open. Not that we weren't going to open the rest the next morning.. but once you get into ripping off wrapping paper, you just don't want to STOP!
We do xmas morning in our home. But this year we both know what we got eachother (except my side gift) and its really all about AJ's Xmas hahaha
