Do you Rent or Own your cable box?
I just noticed all the cable boxes on ebay today and I was thinking maybe I should just buy one and return the boxes I renting... This if they allow it...

they wont work...
to read more, you can do a search on dslreports forums for cablevision...
while its a good idea, not happening..as the above poster said, the box along with cablecard need to be activated...

Don't waste your money. I used to work for cablevision. They won't work.
