Cable box question....

Our old IO box is going to be switched from the old Sony one- which works like garbage- so we are changing it because of that and the IO has been out for 3 days now on that box, but not on our new box. ( in our living room) Is it going to be really hard to change the box when we go to attach the new one???? I hope it is easy to do. I am not too thrilled to have to move our dresser which is solid wood to unplug it, but we have no choice. Anyone have experience switching the box and then reattaching it? Was it easy? Do they give you instructions? The thought of not being able to attach it back the right way and having to wait for them to come to do it does not make me too happy.
TIA!

Re: Cable box question....

Its super simple. Just note when pulling out your old box which is the in cable and which is the out cable. And then on your new box it will have the same in and out.
