Do you still call your parents house "home"?
Sometimes DH gets mad cause he'll ask me where I am and I say "i'm on my way home" and i'll be heading to my mom's house. He has to say "home our house or home your mom's house?". Maybe cause it's only been 6 months since i moved out...

now I say home to my mom's
(it is just as much my dad's home too - but I always say mom - aw sorry dad!)

Nope.
Even though I was my Dad's caregiver when I lived with him and took care of the entire house, including the bills, it hasn't felt like my house for a very long time.

In the beginning I did it a lot. Now I do it sometimes.
My parents have lived in their house for 36 years so it has ALWAYS been home.

No because they sold my childhood home four years ago. I actually don't feel like I have a home at all because I live in an apartment which is so NOT home, and my parents' new home just isn't mine at all.  I'm a girl without a home!

Nope. Probably because my parents moved out of the home i grew up in 2 years ago. where they live now is just a house.

but in referring to home to my dh or anyone else, my home is CT
