butterflies..honestly, no!  i think the butterflies for me were more a combination of newness and excitement when we first met.
i am still happy when he calls, comes home, etc., but the nervous pit of your stomach butterflies have been replaced by a warm comfortable feeling.
I feel EXACTLY the same way.
Sometimes I miss the newness and excitement that you have when you first meet. But it's all good now too!

We've seen each other one night a week for the past month so YES, I have butterflies when I know we're going to see each other.....
When we both worked out of Baltimore airport (he's in Dulles now) and I would see him I'd definitely get butterflies....
When I'd see his hairy @ss getting in the shower.... sadly, no butterflies.....

Same goes for me. I still look to see if his car is outside everytime I hear a car drive by.

Yes.
Now when I look at him I think, "Wow, he's a great husband and will soon be an awesome daddy" and I get all mushy inside.
He's coming back from a business trip to CA tonight (way passed my bedtime) but I'm sure I'll wake up and   when he cuddles up into the bed.

I have known my current SO for 7 years now.... He has been my friend, casual dating partner, back to friend, didnt talk for awhile, friend again and now together in a more serious relationship
in that time we had other relationships, I got married and divorced, we parted ways for awhile but still saw each other...
but through all that time, I ALWAYS had butterflies when he was around me.....
