I don't. Maybe I would if it was a Friday or Monday so I could get a 3-day weekend out of it and make some plans. But we get birthday cake at the office if we come in

My birthday is December 4, which is the week after Thanksgiving and 3 weeks before Christmas. I usually have a lot of days leftover at the end of the year so I'll take Monday-Wednesday the week of Thanksgiving and then take the days in between Christmas and New Year's. I don't mind working my birthday, I'd rather take off for the holidays.

in my old law firm we would get a day off during the month of our birthday. we could take off anyday during that month.
I miss that!! 
When I worked, this is what my company did too. It was great.
My Birthday is in May, so, I'd ALWAYS take the Friday before Memorial Day and give myself a nice extended weekend.

I always take my birthday off. It could be because I am a summer baby and never even had to go to school on my birthday. But this company I work for now gives us an extra day off for our birthday.

I never used to but my b-day is 2 days after my anniversary so we will be celebrating up on Mackinac Island both the anniversary and birthday every year.

there is no way i would ever work on my birthday. why should i go do for others when i can stay home and do for myself the one and only day of the year i should do for me. take the day definitely.

i always have off on my birthday
this year i surprised dh and took off for his birthday. his company gives every employee off for their bday. i think its nice to feel extra special at least 1 day each year - why not on your bday?

Every year most of the US gets my birthday off with pay! It's a National Holiday!
Mine is the day after and I take my vacation around that time so yeah i take off for my birthday.
I knew we were alot alike!

No, for two reasons...
1- I don't work, lol
2- When I did work, I always got a 3 day weekend for my birthday anyway (me and Martin Luther King Jr. share a b-day )
