Do you take your baby with you to appointments?

Hair appts, nail appts, Dr appts, anywhere?

I have a quick Derm appt coming up & would hate to have my mom travel 30 min to watch him for a 20 min Dr. appt.

I feel like people look at me like I am crazy when we go food shopping, just the 2 of us.

I had to bring Ainsley to one of my dr's appts but other than that I don't really bring the kids to my appts.

I would do it if I had to, but it usually works out that my DH or mom is around to watch them.

I don't drive far distances. So for appointments, grocery shopping I have to have DH take me. So he watches the kids in the car or waiting room while I get seen.

If I can get my mom to come over (she lives 15 min away) then I leave them with her and make a visit out of it when I get back.

But its rare that she does favors like that for me.

Would never bring DS to the nail or hair salon, but would def bring him to a dr's appt if I had nobody to watch him. Its not crazy...its your child!

I bring DD everywhere when I am home as I have no family or help in FL.

DS basically comes everywhere with me unless I know it's going to be something where he's definitely absolutely not going to wait/sit that long, then I plan and ask my MIL or mom to watch him for a couple of hours. I can't do this often so I try to plan those types of things for all in one day. My DS wouldn't sit in his stroller long enough for a pedicure appt but he comes with me to all my OB appts, he has his snack cup and that occupies him for a few minutes, food shopping, target, any miscellaneous shopping he comes with me, he has no choice.

I bring DS everywhere with me since we have no family to watch DS and DH works in the City.

This year, DS turned 3, I informed DH that DS will no longer go to my OB appt with me. I was able to get a late day appt.

I have to schedule a mammogram again. I have yet to do it. I don't know what to do with DS.

I dont have any family to help me, so DD goes everywhere with me.

Doctor's Appts.
Eyebrow waxing
Haircuts
shopping
You name it, she goes


Only appts I skip with her are dental appts.


She is very good out & in the stroller. I suspect it's because I take her everywhere.


I skip mani/pedi unless I have friends going with me. Just in case she gets fussy and the woman is working on my hands.

I try not to b/c my family is right here in town, I did this morning though. I had an OB appt and DS was really good.

I try not to bring him to dr. appt's with me but if I have to I would. I wouldn't bring him to a haircut or nail appt....that's mommy alone time.

I used to. Before she was in daycare. I hated it. But that was my own personal opinion. I had my hubby take a day off work when I had to go for my OB/GYN cause I couldn't really watch her

Otherwise she went with me to all appts.

Then she got into daycare and of course now she doesn't come along. There were some rare occasions she and I both had appts on the same day. She would come with me if it was just a check up/follow up but I'd drop her back off after her own appt.

ETA: I dont bring her to anything that I can't immediately care for her if necessary. So no hair cuts or nails, etc cause I feel I'm not readily available to get to her in a pinch. That's not to say she doesn't come along. If my hubby or aunt is there to watch her then she loves it. She likes watching Mamma change her 'do' haha!

I wouldn't bring him to the nail salon but, I have taken him to appointments.

I take him food shopping all of the time. It's one of his favorite activities - nobody looks at us funny, they just like to talk to him - and he loves it! We usually go early on Fri am before I start working from home and he's got the attention of all the shoppers and all the cashiers.

I've taken DD to doctors appts but I wouldn't bring her to nail or hair appts.

I've yet to bring both kids anywhere by myself. I'm not brave enough yet. lol

Dr. appointment, yes, hair, nails, etc. no - I do those on the weekend when DH is home or when my mom can babysit.

Yes, for drs appts, but I always have so it's not a big deal to me. Of course if I had someone else to help watch them I would, but I don't, so I just deal.

Hair and nail I used to schedule on weekends when DH was around, but I did bring them to doctor's appointments. Didn't really have a choice.

I can't imagine ever bringing DS to a hair / nail appt that would never happen.

He does come w/ me to doc appts once in a while

Yeah to Dr. Appointments, I have to drag the 3 unless I find a babysitter, the other stuff I do on weekends when DH is home.
