Do you think there will be an influx of houses coming on the market soon?
The areas we're looking have been slow..do you think it'll pick up in May and over the summer?

from what ive heard alot of people put their houses up around now....b/c they want to move in the summer espically those that have kids so they are in by sept. I dont know how true this is though

We started looking about a month and a half ago. I think MANY houses sold quickly because of the 8k tax credit. We were told that after the spring break a boat load more will go on sale. We found our home 2 weeks ago.

thats what I've heard too...I'm hoping bc no new houses have come on in the last two weeks in the two towns we're looking at

spring is usually the time people list, but I would imagine if people were going to list they would have tried to get it listed for the tax credit.
i think it will be slow for a bit longer (total non expert opinion - just from a seller perspective)

God, I hope so.
I check MLS about 5 times a day.. so frustrating.
I'm going to a house tomorrow that my parent's both saw & loved, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm certainly no real estate expert, but I would think the biggest influx would be in March/April. Most families with school-aged children want to be closed before the school year starts.
