I guess other, I usually ask for small things or something for the house but DH refuses to buy it so he always buys something for "me" like perfume, shoes, or some kind of electronic device (iphone, ipod, etc)
We don't buy each other or ourselves anything during the year so christmas we'll make an effort to get each other something nice but not terribly expensive.
I also feel that christmas is for the kids, I get more pleasure out of seeing their little excited faces

I usually put one or two things on my wish list that I know I wont get - the past few years its been the Kitchen Aid stand mixer. I would love it, but that one item is almost $300. So, I add it every year but I've yet to receive it.
Other than that, I usually get just about everything else on my list.

I don't make a list. The last time I made a list I was probably 8, lol.
DH and I exchange a few things but not much- especially since we have DC. He usually gets me a piece of jewelry. Last year was kind of hectic so he gave me a Sephora gc. I usually get him some kind of tool that I saw he was researching prices on or something.

I've never heard of an adult having a wish list. If there's something I really want, I get it myself. DH and I exchange gifts, but it's never off a list.
With 3 kids, it's really only about them during the holidays.

I don't make a list. DH always asks me every year what I want, but I think that's kind of pointless because I could just get those things by myself.
Getting things that I specifically ask for is slightly un- fulfilling to me. I rather just get a gift with some thought behind it.

I can't even think of anything I want, and if I did I'd just go buy it. I mostly don't exchange gifts with anybody for Christmas except the in-laws.
