I don't wash new clothes anymore, but I still do onesies and PJ's.

yes... I first try it on him quickly to make sure it fits and if its good to go, then I throw it in the machine on speed wash. and done!

I still do. My sons are 4.5 & 2yrs. I think it might be weird, but when I think of all the countries clothes are made in I think how many germs they are exposed to.
I kinda feel the same way. DD's only 8 months, but I still wash everything first, just for the dirt/dust/germ factor...but I'm wacky, I admit it 
You guys are not Whacky-I have a ton of friends in retail and some of the stories give me the heebie jeebies. DD likes to suck on her sleeves and I am petrified to think someone who didnt wash their hands "put" those clothes on the rack or touched them.

I do.
I wash all my clothes as well.
I only started lately, to not wash some of my new clothes if I wanted to wear it right away.
