I got a text message from my mom this morning...and I don't know why but I found it funny that my mom is texting me...she used to be so clueless when it came to her cell phone

lol my mom barely knows how to answer hers!
but she is getting better with that kind of stuff so who knows? maybe someday she'll work her way up to texting

My mom will text rarely.
My mom happens to be very technological advanced. She is a network admin so I guess it's not surprising that she knows what a text is.
On the other hand, I don't think my dad knows what a text is.

OMG..my mom is a PRO at it! Its so funny. She would always say that she would never. Then when my sister got her a cell phone, she never stopped!
My dad learned once. One whole weekend I got silly texts from him. He said it would take him an hour to type one. THen it stopped, I asked him why and he said it gives him a headache! LOL

As I was typing my response, my cell went off! I went to check it and it was my DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear to God, he has not texted me in a year!!!!!!!!!! Good thing for my chicken scratch detector or I would have no clue what he was saying.
My grandma on the other hand is an articulate text messager: Hello darling, how are you today? I am going out to lunch with so and so and then going to play Canasta at the club. Have a lovely day, Grandma.
