Doc appointment question (28-30 weeks specifically)
I hate asking questions like this, but I did do a search first so bear with me.
Im 29 weeks on Thursday when I am going to my next OB appointment. What can I expect at this particular appointment other than a sonogram? Any particular testing to be done?
I know its routine and I am not worried or anything, its just been a while since I have been there and I can't remember what they told me this appointment was for.
TIA ladies.

I don't remember anything special about that appointment. Just typical weight, measure belly, hear heartbeat type appointment.
After the glucose test I don't remember having any tests until 35 weeks. At that point I was tested for Strep B, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea.

Re: Doc appointment question (28-30 weeks specifically)
Im going to slip the nurse aa c-note if she doesnt make me get on the scale. Honestly, it doesnt LOOK like I gained too much weight, but I am having issues making peace with gaining weight after being the same weight for 6 years. I know it doesnt come from food though - rather impossible for someone like me because I dont consume and absorb calories normally. But man, seeing the numbers go up really bites the big one. It will come off.

Do you get sonos at every visit? I know that the last 2 months with my son I was getting bio physical profiles once a week but I had diabetes. I think at the end the only tests I know about are the bpp and the nst.

Ooo, you are lucky. My doctor just listens to the heartbeat. This pregnancy I will get a lot of growth sonos at the end, but that is because I am on lovenox and they want to make sure the baby is growing nicely. And my luck I will probably be diabetic again
