DOE teachers- pass it on
Petition
Don't know if it will matter, but this is a petition to David Steiner of the NYS Dept of Ed, requesting that he deny Cathie Black the needed waiver to become the School Chancellor. She does not have the required certifications and thus cannot be appointed without the waiver.

Just signed....
She seems like smart ,competent, women- but that doesn's always mean you are quailified for everything.
We can be nice- instead of 4 years of school plus a Master's degree and expirence in education (like we all need to be and stay teachers) she should be asked to at least pass some of our tests (ATS-W, LSAT, etc), and maybe a semester of student teaching.  
I think I might apply for a job to run a law firm.
