Is tcby still around? I know there used to be one in stony brook...
there is a tcby in lynbrook. i think they closed the oceanside one.
i am not a fan of the self serve aspect of the store.

Does anyone else NOT like frozen yogurt from these new popular places?
there are all kinds of these yogurt shops in my area (central nj).
i've tried a few but none have really won me over. i prefer buying ice cream at the supermarket and having ice cream at home.

I actually just got into frozen yogurt because there is a Red Mango next to DS's karate school. We are addicted to the spoonable smoothies. I've never heard of the others mentioned except TCBY.

Not a fan of fro yo or ice cream really. Never sits well.
I must have 10 in a 15 mike radius of me. They are all over!
Last time I had it was back in the days of Caldor.  mom would treat me to one once in awhile.

I love moolala but I get the cookies and cream type flavors not the "yogurt"sour like flavor

I like 16 Handles. But I think they are only in the city.
I LOVEEE 16 Handles  . They are on LI. I go to Great Neck & Lynbrook. On their website has all of their locations.
Not a fan of Red Mango and Moolala. I think they have an after taste.

i love these self serve frozen yogurt places. i am a huge ice cream fan, so anything cold and sweet is good to me. plus, they have no sugar added that my DS loves. he has a peanut allergy so he can't frequent the regular ice cream shops. Sweet Frog is very allergy friendly. i love that i can mix up the flavors, size and toppings for whatever mood i am in.

I like them too! There is one by me in Plainview.
I like them too but have only been to one in CT, though I do know there's one on Mill Neck Road in Great Neck too.

Moolala is my favorite. I go for vanilla or cookies and cream.
