Does anyone ever get suspicious
When they see someone who is a LIF member for a long time but has only a handful of responses? Am I the only one who suspects a fakie name to post on drama treads with? Just curious
EDIT for clarification ~
This wan not mean for any newbies, we were all nebies at one point, and probably felt a bit intimidated
I mean for the SN's that have been around for a year or so, only have under 50 posts or so and they are all filled with snarky comments ondrama boards

hmm, I never even thought about that. Honestly most times I don't even remember the names and who posted what. Especially is they change their avatar

Me too, heck if I remember most peoples screen names, I usually go by avatar picture, and when they change that it really throws me off.

Not everyone is as "vocal" as most of us, and some people only think about popping on here once every few months.... I know it doesn't seem possible, but I think it does happen....

I am new.
I feel that unless you join some secret club or have over 36391746291 posts, you're branded a newbie looking for drama.
It isn't the most "friendly" environment for newbies, thats for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if thats the reason people don't post more.

No, I'm long time and not a lurker.
I have a toddler and a preschooler and a husband deployed. I'm Mom, Dad and Grandparents rolled into one with little free time.
Sometimes I don't understand how some can post so much unless they are able to post at work since if "Dh" was home the last thing I would be doing is spending time on my laptop since our time is limited. So I come and go.

Nope, never really thought about. I know alot of posters who are on here for a long time, and small # of posts have stated they like to read and only respond when necessary. But if they have small # and notice that everytime they do post its drama then thats a different storie.

Until just recently I didn't have enough time in my daily routine to come on and post. I don't get on LIF at work because I'm there to work not to surf the web. And while I try to respond to threads, sometimes I'm just too lazy or I'm laughing too hard at the drama to bother.
I was on LIW too. I think I posted 30 times in 18 months. Oh well.

Yeah, I kind of felt that way when I joined LIF, so I know where your coming from. Luckily for me though, I was a LIW transplant so know tons of posters. It gets easier - you will see. Most of us are really great. You will realize that as time goes on.

Personally, I never thought that of you.
However, I do wonder when someone new jumps into controversial threads and acts ballsy. Maybe that's the way some people just are, but I think that most of us test the waters before showing our true colors.
