does anyone get waves of exhaustion that are almost scary?
its like la lalala life is okay...then whammmmmmo eyes literally are trying to shut...and its overwhelming and unshakable...almost what i imagine to be near narcoleptic. off balance heavy eyes delierious...then maybe half an hour later you are fine if you rest a bit?
bp is fine btw.
is it just being in the third tri?

That was me this weekend...especially today. Thank fully DD still naps so we took one together. DH was at work and I almost called him to come home. I didn't think I was dehydrated but after drinking 2 bottles of water I started feeling normal again. Stinks I wanted to clean a bit, all well!

I get it then I sit and then I'm ok, I'm 33wks tommorow, if I'm getting ready to go put somewhere in the am like work, I take a shower, get dressed do my hair and makeup then by the time get done I have to sit for 15 or 20 minutes I get sooo winded!!

So weird you brought this up bc I just started noticing it this weekend. I've been out and about shopping both days and just thought it could have been exhaustion. But like you said, it's like bam! You are hit so quickly (its like a 180 into zombie mode) and then back to normal a little later. Strange! If that's my biggest prob though, I'll take it! I've had a relatively easy pregnancy thank god!

Me too! And that began like midway through the 2nd tri. I've had to bring a seat into the bathroom with me to make it easier to do my hair  And then when all is said and done, I don't even want to move. Zero ambition. It's so terrible!

I have been so exhausted this past 12 weeks. I have no energy at all. Especially after 1 pm. I wake up full of energy, but by lunch time I'm done and I want to just sit and do nothing, just want to

YES! It hits me like a brick especially at work. It will be like 12:00 noon and wham! I need a nap, but of course I can't. I have to work through it. I want to exercise but just have No energy. In looking forward to getting back into an exercise routine after baby is born.

OMG ive been experiencing this all week... Ill be at my desk and then it hits me so hard that i literally cant keep my eyes open... I have to close my eyes or i cant function... Its crazy...

Have you had your thyroid levels checked recently? I always found I had that feeling while PG if my hormone levels were off.

I'm on synthroid too!! My levels were checked about 3wks ago

Same her but still exhausted at 15 weeks! Instead of it being all day exhaustion, I feel like I hit a wall around noon/1pm. I'm lucky I can sometimes nap with DS though, if I don't it's almost unbearable!

The third trimester IS very exhausting! I remember feeling those waves of exhaution too and now for the past 2 weeks or so it's pretty much an all the time thing. I don't know how I'm keeping my eyes open today!
One thing you may want to make sure you are being careful about is your blood sugar. Fluctuations can cause extreme fatigue. I know you have GD...so...just keep an extra close eye!

yes all of a sudden ill just need to sit down for a few minutes and take a powernap. its so strange cause i was not like this with DS! ill just be cleaning and then suddenly go waitttt a minute lemme shut my eyes for a bit here.

Yes!! As soon as I hit the third tri I get moments where my eyes burn I'm so exhausted.
