My sister and her BFF go every year, and have for at least 15. They plan it all out based on opening times of stores. For example, Kohls opens at 4AM, so they start there, and move on to whatever store opens at 5AM. They are usually 100% finished by 6:30AM.

I'll be working so I don't even have the option unless I didn't want to sleep 
Plus there really isn't anything out there that any family member or DH and I, NEED enough for me to deal with the madness.

I did the last few years but the sales arent that appealing to us that we have to wake up at 2AM so we are staying in and buying what we want online

Yup me. I have never gone shopping on "black Friday" and never will. I 'd rather stay home and relax. All the hassle(trying not to get killed while shopping) not worth saving some money IMO. Especially when I know that there will be more sales throughout Christmas.

I don't need anything that badly. Frankly, my peace of mind is worth more than the $ I'd save by waiting on line and fighting crowds.

I hate the way people act in malls around the holidays. Its so stressful I need a valium just to drive past the mall between black fri and xmas.
Even if I had the courage to venture out I still have to work every Friday after Thanksgiving.
