Does anyone swaddle for naps???
This kid wont sleep unless I swaddle him for naps. His hands are constantly by his face and he wakes up.
The funny thing is that he fights the swaddle like crazy!!!!

Yes... DD gets swaddled anytime she is in the crib to sleep. She also does not like to have her hands swaddled and always had them up by her face, so we started to swaddle her that way. (wherever she would leave her hands, that's how we swaddled her). Now because she was spending 40+ minutes trying to get her hands out, we swaddle her from the armpits down and leave her arms out. She is usually asleep within 5 minutes now rather than the 40+ minutes.

We swaddle for naps and night time sleep. She is 2 months old now... and still her hands are all up in her face and she wont fall asleep....but yes...she fights being in the swaddle...but then is out in minutes. If she does break out of it...she'll cry...we re-swaddle and she's better.
Some naps are in the swing and I have cut little holes in the bottom of one of her swaddles for her her feet so I can fasten her in =)

We swaddle at night only and DD fights out of the swaddle sleep sack. She likes her hands to be free.

Same here, I couldn't get him to nap any other way.
