FH lovesssssss to eat!!! hes not really a picky eater.
i love to cook different things so im always asking for his feedback
he has no problem telling me the truth
i think its because he knows its not going to stop me from cooking or trying new things

My husband tells me his honest opinion about my cooking, my outfits, my hair etc 
Just his way he tells it like it is--but then so do I

6 years married and he FINALLY has started to be a little more critical. Everything is always 'good'. But lately, he's been making more of an effort to say "I really liked that", "not a fan of this in that meal" .... He means well, he always says "not every meal has to be 5-star, it's OK to sometimes just fill the void" (bless him  ) but I really want to know if he dislikes something because I won't make it again or I'll try to improve it ... whatever, he's never turned down a meal so it can't be that bad.

Well, it took DH almost 40 yrs. of marriage, to tell me he didn't like green beans!!!! Wish he would have told me earlier!!! Mary

Yes he does. For every new meal I make, he rates it on a scale from 1-10 and I make him say either make again or do not make again.
I just started cooking healthy and DH doesn't like most of it  so I have to keep experimenting.
Last nights meal was an 8 and a make again!

Yes, all the time. If I try a new recipe sometimes it's a vague "it's good" - I get specific about my questions now - not "do you like it?" - I ask "should I make this again?".

I try to make stuff that I think we will both like.
He know that if he doesn't like it and doesn't say so then I'll just make it again so he'll have to eat it!! 
So I just ask him if a recipe is a keeper or a repeater - that way he can say if he likes or not w/o insulting me.
Thankfully he cooks some stuff too, so it goes both ways!!

My DH is always honest but he is not picky. In three years of us being together there have been two occasions he has complained about his food. Lucky for me only once was my cooking.

Most of the time DH "loves" everything I cook. But if he does not like something or even if I make something "off" he always tells me!!!
