if you dont mind me asking, what did you get there?
Some place on Sunrise Hwy - it was about 6 years ago...
It's just a tribal design - something similar to something I used to doodle ages ago. The guy did a crap job - you can't tell by looking at it, but I can. You know?
He had me stretch - so the tat should be longer/bigger than it is but b/c he had me stretch, it shrunk. 
If I have the strength  I'd like to cover it up with a different tat. Someday...

Mine hurt for a few minutes but it went away after a while. It got annoying.
Jenn I know someone who has a lady bug on their foot it looks so cute. The Lady bug is sitting on a flower. The stem goes around their toe (or is it the other way around) she said it was painfull and she has to get it re colored often because the ink "rubs off" from her shoes. BUT it looks so cute.

Mine is on my lower back and it didn't hurt nearly as much as I thought it would. I had sunburn when I got it so that probably made it worse. I've since realized that I have a higher tolerance for pain than I originally thought.

yeah. you should only get it done in the summer so you can wear flip flops/barefoot.

I have one of my lower back, right side. I think getting belly button pierced hurt a lot more that the tattoo did.

Mines on my lower back and it didn't really hurt that much. It was more annoying than anything. I want one on the arch of my foot, but I've been told that will hurt very badly.

it does and doesn't. It hurt while it was actually getting done, then afterwards it tingled, itched a llittle bit. I had psyched myself up about it so badly and could not relax while getting it done, that I almost passed out in the chair.
I have a lower back one. The ankle can be bad because there is no padding and they do hit the bone-DH has a band around his ankle and one going up the back of his leg which he said wasn't bad-it's all meat.

One thing is for sure... tattoos are addicting. I have four, and the one that hurt the most is the one I got on my wrist (the others are on my back, back waist area, and around my belly button).

All of mine hurt - I mean its a needle sticking your skin over and over again. The ones that hurt the WORST were: the back of my neck and my ankles. The ones that hurt least were: the one on my lower back and the one on my shoulder.
ETA: seriously consider where you put it and if you will want to hide it at all...I started getting them when I was 18 and didn't stop til I was 25 and I regret SO MUCH getting so many of them. I wont even wear shorts anymore! I'm also in the process of having some of them removed and it is SO expensive and hurts twice as bad as getting them did.

Well...there are 2 answers to that LOL
I have 6 spots on my body that are tattooed...but I have 12 different pieces of work. What I mean is, I got a tat on my shoulder...and then a few months later I added a big piece to it - so its really 2 tattoos but in one spot. So I have 6 "spots" on my body and 12 tattoos total...and my bellybutton still pierced. I got that pierced and then walked across the hall and had a tat done on my lower back...man was THAT a mistake - I couldnt sleep on my stomach or back for a week! 
I tell people all the time how much I regret so many of my tats...I try to get them to rethink it.

How long are they estimating that it'll be removed?
I went to a place that claimed it'll take 8-10 sessions (at least 3 weeks apart) to remove this itty bitty one... I was dumbfounded. How did Angelina get hers (Billy Bob one) removed in weeks????

Actually they arent too too big...but big enough. I have pics of the one Im having removed - in the removal process..they are gross. I will post them in a minute - but warming - they are GROSS

here is the second (and larger) half - notice the tattoo scabbing and lifting up - when it comes off its all raw flesh - it is gross, it hurts and cost me $1400 already and Im barely half done with this one. Image Attachment(s):
