Does your 2 year old nap
My boys refuse to take a nap unless its after 2 pm which means they would never go to bed. Now its 8:15 and they have been up since 6:30 and they are still running around like nuts in their room.
I am at my wits end and not sure what to do.
If you can share your schedule and what wipes them out I would appreciate it.

My 2 year old goes down for her nap around 2:30/3 for about 2-3 hours.
She goes to sleep around 8:30. Up around 6:30/7.

My DD takes her nap at 2 also; some days 2:30 & she'll sleep for 2-2 1/2 hours & she still goes down by 745, 8pm. I'd try it, can't hurt.

This was my DD's (will be 2 on Sunday) schedule until we moved a few weeks ago. Now She naps by 11 am and by 7 pm every night she is sooo sleepy.

naps 1-4 ish and gooes to sleep around 8:30. Up around 8:00 am.

dd naps 4-5 times a week, usually from 12:30-2:30
at night she sleeps from 8:00- 6:30

My 2 and 3 year old take naps around 1:00 no later than 2:00pm and are both in bed by 8:30.

wakes up: 6:30-7:15. Usually closer to 7-7:15
Naps: usually 2 hours. Around 12-1pm depending on therapies. The longer I postponne the nap, the longer the nap.
Bedtime: 8pm Usually falls asleep 8:30-9pm. Sometimes later.

Wakes between 6:15-6:30
Put down in crib for nap at 1:15 - asleep by 1:30-1:45
Wakes around 3:30 (some days earlier - some days later.
In the crib by 7:15pm

My 3 yr old naps at 1:30. when she was 2, she napped at 1:00....ETA:she goes to sleep at 7:30/7:45 every night and wakes at 7 am.

mikayla wakes up at between 7:30-8:30, goes to nap at 2ish (2-2.5 hour nap)
Sleep by 8:30

On school days (m,w,f) DS naps from 2PM~4:30/5
On non school days (he has EI) He naps from 3~5/530
He still goes to bed by 8:15/30 the latest!
On the weekends, if we are out, he's fine with no nap, but, if we're home during the week, he takes advantage and so do I..LOL

Thank you ladies for all of your responses. I am going to try to put them down for a nap to see if this helps with their sleeping habits. Yesterday they had no nap and they finally went down at 8:30 and both woke up a few times during the night...I just dont get it. Do I have the only 2 year olds that wont sleep. ughhh
