Does your battery life suck on your iPhone?
Mine does.
I do all the right things, too: lower the brightness, close everything running in background, I charge it to 100% and let it drain until re-charging it, etc, etc.
Last time this happened, the Apple store said something was corrupted and they wiped it clean and it was good.
Now it's happening AGAIN.
It's ridiculous. I will have it at 100% and in three hours of doing NOTHING with it, it will be at 34% or something. That's just not right.
Any ideas?
Tips?
Does this happen to you?
Out of every phone I have ever owned, this one SUCKS with the battery life.

Whenever mine starts draining fast i just do a hard restart. Always works.
Did you get a new app recently, though? I did have a corrupt app once that drained my phone until i deleted it.

Ah, yes the dreaded hard restart. I hate doing it.  But I will, 'cuz I will try anything at this point.
No new apps, either. It's so weird. But thanks!

yup.. battery life sucks.. which is why I always have a cord.. whether it's at work/home/car..

Yes! I only have the iPhone 4s a week and a full battery charge hardly lasts a full day. I close all apps running in the background and that doesn't seem to help. I bought a car charger and a charger for my office as well.

mine!
i have a question...
so to close all the open apps you double click the little circle on the bottom and then what? is it supposed to clear them all out when i double click or is there another step?
also, what's a hard restart? is that when you hold the circle button and top button at the same time?
 still learning!

this.
only thing i could suggest is being sure your apps are really not running. you can check this by double clicking the home button (the round one) and at the bottom of the screen will pop up all the apps running. press on one til the little "X" pops up and they start shaking and close them that way. but it sounds like you're doing this already.
oh and what's a hard start? i've never heard this term used before...

turn off location services you don't use. My battery lasts a good day before I have to recharge it, but I don't allow push notifications and log out of stuff too

My battery lasts the entire day no problem and I am guilty of leaving apps open and I am constantly on wifi.

Yes. I am always walking around with an extra cord, and right now its charging through my work laptop. Its annoying. Its the only aspect of owning an iPhone that blows. :(

When I'm at work it does. I don't get much of a signal in my office so I think the battery drains b/c it's searching for a better signal. On weekends though it's fine. I have the brightness turned down low and close all apps.

My battery last about a full day unless I'm compulsively checking Twitter or playing a game. I turned off all my push notifications/ location services. That helped a lot.
