Does your company offer non-paid maternity leave after paid maternity leave?

My company gives 3 months paid and I can take about an extra month with vacation days.

I was wondering if it is common or available for women to take additional non-paid maternity leave.

Do you plan to take non-paid leave after your paid maternity leave is over?

I get 8 - 10 weeks paid, but can take up to 6 months (remaining unpaid)

If I would have been here a year I would have gotten 12 paid weeks.

We have unpaid leave, and we are tossing around the idea of me working from home for a few months and coming into the office once a week for meetings.

all of my leave is non-paid - my company doesn't have a maternity leave benefit. So all I am entitled to is the 12 weeks FMLA with no pay.

I do not automatically get paid, but there are mechanisims within my agency, that allows me to be paid for it if I want to be. Otherwise, it would not be paid. I am entitled to 7 months off.

I am entitled to 12 weeks paid, more if I want to/or have vacation days to add to it but I can take an additional 3 months without pay.

Yes, I can take up to 6 months total leave. But only get paid for 12 weeks.

I get three months of paid maternity leave and am able to get an additional 3 months of short-term disability (at whatever disability pay is), but ONLY if medically necessary......

I can take up to a year in total leave, but only get paid for the first 11 weeks plus whatever vacation time I want to use.

I can take 12 weeks FMLA, but will only get paid for 6-8 weeks of them, depending on vag or c-section.

We can take a year of personal leave. Your benefits and such are suspended during this time so this wouldn't be an option for someone who needed the benefits unless you paid out of pocket while you took personal leave.
Luckily my benefits are through DH so this is what I do.

even better, my job gave me 4 weeks PAID leave after my 8 week disability ended

Up to 4 months not paid, but disability....

we get 6 or 8 weeks at 100% then our optional maternity leave at 40%- that depends on how long you are with the company- then your vacation time kicks in. Then you can come back to work and do phase back 3 days a week for 60% pay, or you can stay out longer and get no pay.

I'm taking 3+ months off, most of which is unpaid.
