Does your DC have any current obsessions? (toys, items)

Like MINE!

DD, almost 15 months is obsessed with brushes-ANY kind!
Toothbrush, a hair brush, a makeup shadow brush,,OMG!

She squeals until its in her hand and she hangs on to it and plays with it for hrs.
She will also use all to brush her hair.


No toys-BRUSHES

Thomas is obessed with Elmo and balls!!

He thiks hair brushes and tooth brushes are interchangable and he tryies to brush his hair with tootbrush and teeth with hairibrush!

Remote control and cell phone.. loves them and if she sees them.. thats it.. she wants it.

- Money - he goes around and picks up loose change. He puts them in his pocket and then before bed he puts them in his piggy bank. His bank is almost full, so I guess I need to get him another one soon

- Riding the bus - my FIL took him on a public bus a few weeks ago bc he asked to go. Ever since he wants to go on a bus. Then this week he went on a field trip on a school bus.

DD1 - her bathing suit
my shoes - When I go into the office and come home - I don't get a hug, she asks me to take my shoes off so she can wear them.

DD2 - Anything that she can stick in her mouth - sand, mulch, eggcorns - you name it.

DD is 18 months and its Elmo and Dora. She loves Big Bird and Oscar to but Elmo is easier to say. She will watch them but likes me to fast forward the parts she doesn't like Imagine if we didn't have TIVO!

ds is 14 months- anything elmo, balls (esp. his soccer ball), feet...yes i said FEET (he'll even try to hug and kiss ours and look at peoples feet at the park , and cats & dogs (he'll hug pictures of them and try to jump on our cat and dog ever sec he can.)

my flip flops and tampons I swear a box of tampons keeps him busy for an hour!!!!!

So he has pretty much one obsession. Trains.

Shoes

She loves to wear our shoes around the house. Her little toddler size 6 feet walk around in DH's tennis shoes, my flip flops and my 2" platform wedges. It's quite amazing how good she is at walking in them!

My DD was the child trying on everybody's shoes at Big Bird's Nest at Sesame Place instead of playing in the nest like the other kids.

Ya think this shoe obsession will subside by the time she's a teenager?

She's obsessed with wearing other people's shoes.
Pretending to talk on the phone.
Pretending to go shopping in my livingroom for all of my picture frames, candles, etc.

anyone's purse - she'll dump everything out of it and then put everything back in it - and repeat the process again and again.

. . . and her two lovies - raffi the giraffe and monty the dog. She must have them at all times.

DS- like PP he is obsessed with FEET, has been for months. I'm hoping that obsession, combined with his first word being, "book" means he is destined to be a podiatrist and not just a creepy foot fetish guy Oh, and "Caaaaaa, Caaaaaa, Caaaaaa" (Cars)... everything that's on four wheels is a car... cars, trucks, bulldozers, etc.

DD- Rachel From Baby Signing Time. She would sell me on e-bay and ask Rachel to be her mommy if she could... Kisses books, Little People

Add my DS to the Rachel from signing time list. He stops EVERYTHING when she comes on and he waves to her and blows her kisses.

Sitting in chairs. He trys to make everything a chair and sit in it. He also likes to sit on the couch with us like a big boy...and watch Rachel from signing time.

And he's just learned how to scoot himself around on his little walker/riders so he just scoots on them from room to room!! Or sits on them to watch...Rachel from signing time.


Off to amazon to order more signing time DVDs!!

My dd has recently found out how to open up the back of the remote controls in the house. She runs around finding all the remotes!

Anything she's not supposed to have.

Cell phones, house phnes, remote controls...the list goes on and on.
