How far along were you before you started buying baby items?

We have a designated baby nursery room in our house that we bought last year. I've been wanting to fill up this empty room but I don't want to jinx myself since I just got my BFP this week.

We got our BFP this week as well and my DH has already started the crown molding and closet doors in our "nursery to be." We aren't going to buy any baby stuff till we know the gender but we are working on the actual room

We bought stuff and kept it elsewhere after my amnio results came in. Slowly but surely, our home has accumulated a lot of baby stuff but it is not in a "nursery." It is in bags and boxes. I am now 34 weeks.

I didnt buy anything until I was about 5 months. A lot of people sent us stuff and it just sat in a box in the guest room (which is turning into the nursery). I had my shower June 21 and that is when I started to get things a little organized.

This weekend we're really getting the nursery ready. I am 33 weeks

As soon as I got my BFP I bought a little cap, mitten and bootie set for DH to tell him the good news. After that, I waited until after my level 2 to buy gender specific items.

I started buying things after my level II at 19 weeks but I did buy a few gender neutral outfits before that

i usually start at 7 months

I'm 17+ weeks and have bought nothing so far. I'm going to start registering in 1.5-2 weeks. A lot of people wait to register/buy baby items until after their Level II sonogram, which is done between 18 and 22 weeks. If you feel comfrotable, you can certainly start buying items earlier than that.

I'm 21 weeks and bought my first outfit on Monday. It was so darn cute I couldn't resist. I don't plan on buying much though. I figure I'll get most of it for my shower.

We plan on starting the nursery (clearing out the room) next weekend.

dh bought me my stroller at 19 weeks and i just ordered a few outfits..(i am 21 weeks sunday). i am still hesitant but slowly starting to buy.

I think we started around 16 weeks... I believe it was the furniture. the first outfit was at something like 19 weeks (a few days before the level II)
