Dog-friendly beaches?
Anyone take their dog to the beach? We'd love to give Zoey the chance to run on the beach and splash in the water, but don't know if there are any that allow dogs.

Re: Dog-friendly beaches?
I know Smiths Point allows dogs.
Now that it's off season, I don't think it's too big of a deal to bring her to just about any beach.

Don't try to go to Jones, Captree or Robert Moses - I almost got a ticket in the winter. Gilgo, Smith's Point and most North Shore beaches are more lax this time of year, but the state parks are pretty strict.
