Dr. appt update and Baby P*star's birthday!
Had a biophysical tonight. First, let me just say that sonograms aren't as fun as they used to be!  Baby P*star is so big he barely fits on the screen and the image isn't as clear.
Anyway, fluid level was good! This makes 2 excellent levels. I have to continue to be monitored twice a week until I deliver. Assuming all goes well, then he'll remain inside me for a while longer.
Now, onto his birthday! He is STILL breech, despite the acupuncture I've had. The medical experts honestly feel he won't turn. His butt continues to descend lower to engage. So while my body is doing the right thing, he is upside down! I cannot take the risk of delivering him with all of the potential complications. So.... Baby P*star will be born on
10/24/08 at 3 PM!!
Part of me is relieved that there is an end in sight and the other part is saddened that I won't go into labor on my own and be able to experience the excitement of spontaneous labor. That being said, I need to do what is best for my son.

Great news that you have a date set and baby P*star will make his arrival safely.
When DS was breech I played music to my belly. I pressed headphones to the very bottom of my belly and played classical music for about an hour. I read online that the baby would move his head closer to the music so he/she could hear better. DS was moving around like crazy from the time I started the music until I woke up the next morning. I went for a sono that afternoon and he had flipped. I know it's not medically proven to work but I was desperate!
