Drinking Milk faster than formula??

So, yesterday we started giving DS whole milk (he's almost 1 year so instead of buying more formula, we choose to give whole milk during the day). No reaction, DS LOVES it. In fact he drinks it crazy fast. Is this normal for babies to drink whole milk a lot faster? He would have about 4 6oz bottles of formula. He could go for more milk if I gave it to him. Should I?

Also, he doesn't go for plain water in the bottle but will have it flavored a little by juice from a sippy. Anyway I can get him to like plain water?

my DS inhales his milk. formula he will stop at 6 oz, milk he can drink 9 oz but I give him between 7-8. Mabye they like the tase of milk more?

he won't drink anything from a sippy he takes water from a bottle which is not good bc he is 15 months

see, luckily just the week DS started really drinking from his sippies (mainly nuby & munkin ones). I fill it about 2/3 with water and about 1/3 juice. If I do just water, he'll suck on it, but not drink it.

I just don't want him to turn into a milk nut.
