Drop Ins Vent and PSA
Has anyone tried using the Target Brand (UP & UP) drop ins...I bought a box and they are not accurate at all. I tested it out and each liner is different and I had to fill it to 7 or 8 oz in order to get 6 oz. So now I have to use a avent bottle to fill the water to 6oz then dump it into the drop in thank god i tested it out first. This is what I get for tring to cheap out. Throwing this box out and getting Playtex today.

That is why we went back to the playtex brand, the measuring was driving me nuts.

Re: Drop Ins Vent and PSA
I tried them, but liked the playtex ones much better, so went back to playtex when the box was done.

Re: Drop Ins Vent and PSA
This was a huge issue when I was using these and this is what I found out.
There are 2 types of liners- Playtex expandable drop ins and Playtex drop ins.
Some of the older playtex bottles actually have 2 different markings- one for expandables and the other side is marked for the non expandables
Target and other generics are NOT expandable.
So if you fill to the 8 oz marker on the BOTTLE- you only get about 6 ozs
Let me find the thread where we were talking about this- it's confusing!

Re: Drop Ins Vent and PSA
thank you for bumping. some go to the 7 line some go to 7 in half, others are to the top?! Also they take 6 oz., the water goes to the 8 line then i have to add the formula and it over flows so frustrating. also, in a few days they will prob be up to 7 oz and these will be totally useless. ahhhh this is too much work for twins !
