DS got the MMR & chicken pox vaccine today ... moms please read..
So DS is 13 months, I was really nervous to get these shots especially at the same time, but I trust my doctor. Anyway.. DS now has a rash on his chest... it's litlle small bumps and the area is red... do you think this related? What should I do?

Rash is a common response to the MMR, the same way a slight fever can be for other vaccines. It is most likely completely normal and absolutely nothing to worry about. You can keep an eye on it and call the ped if you have any question about it going away but I'm sure it's fine!!

My DD has this now too ( haven't gotten those 2 vacccines recently)...Hers are teeny tiny reddish bumps...
When I brought her for her 18m visit on Tuesday, the ped said hers looked like prickly heat..Maybe its that ?

I have heard the chicken pox vaccine can cause a small outbreak of chicken pox.
Give the ped a call...see what they say.

My DD got a rash from the MMR, but it didn't show up until about 9 days later.
If it the same day, it its likely unrelated to the shot - maybe it is prickly heat?

DD#1 got a fever and a rash after she had the MMR and the chicken pox shots (she got them separate - a little over a month apart) - when did your DC get the shot - if they get a reaction like a rash or fever - it is usually 7-14 days after the MMR - DD's was 9 days after, and something like 10-21 days after the chicken pox shot.
DD#2 just got her MMR last friday and her sister had the reaction 9 days later so I'm waiting for her to get something in the next few days if she is going to.
It could also not be related - in this heat - it could be anything from prickly heat/heat rash to roseola if there is a fever.
