Dubai - Where all of our money goes to
I am going to try and insert this power point presentation. It shows just how much money they have over there...
Does anyone know how I can insert the power point?

DH has been watching this documentary that shows all of the development going on in dubai - the things the sheik is doing over there is OUTRAGEOUS! cool in theory , but totally messing with the environment, all so people can live and vacation in extreme luxury.
sorry to hijack but dubai totally fascinates me.

Yup- my husband got a call last month from someone over here b/c they're having a major event over there to celebrate the opening in November or December and there's talk that he might be going over to film it...

It does not work..
try uploading the image to your LIF photos---then you can just insert the image into the post by right clicking on it, select properties, and then copy the address
then when you make your post---just click "Insert Web Image" and enter the URL

I just got an email on this last week... It's pathetic how much that city has grown... MAn made islands shaped like a plam tree and such...... AND I heard on the radio this morning that it is one of the top spots for celebrity and high end vacationers...... Mariah Carey is even having a concert there.... If you see the pictures of the development progres over the last ten years it would make you sick to your stomach!!!

Well we don't really know that for sure, I have been to Dubai few times and never saw any man treating their women badly or with disrespect and they never treated me badly just b/c I am white. They are actually very hospitable and warm people. But I guess we'll never know unless we live there.

One of my dearest college friends lives and works in Dubai with her fiance. Believe me when I say that she would NEVER live there if women were treated badly. I will actually be going to her wedding in a few weeks (not in Dubai) and I am dying to talk to her about her experiences there.
