DAMMIT! Now I have to go to the MAC store - UGH! That is never a bad thing!
Yeah I have a bag of empty MAC containers that I am going to redeem for either a free lipstick or shadow (they give you one for every 6 containers FYI). I also need a bunch of other things.
I'll be there around 4:30 or so at Roosevelt Field if anyone wants to see me in haggered Friday afternoon mode. Not so pretty.
Next question...do I bring my flat iron? KIDDING!!!
Great, now I have become the moron I swore I would never become. I REALLY CAN THINK FOR MYSELF!!!

Re: Dumb hospital bag/hospital stay question
You laugh but I brought velvet rollers so I would not have to blow out my hair

Re: Dumb hospital bag/hospital stay question
I packed it but didn't use it. I showered and dried my hair but I was just too tired to be bothered with make up. I say pack it just in case you decide you really want it.

Re: Dumb hospital bag/hospital stay question
I brought make up just in case. I honestly dont' remember if I ever used it in the hospital...but looking at the pictures, I'm pretty sure I didn't touch the stuff!

Re: Dumb hospital bag/hospital stay question
My sisters packed my makeup bag for me...I had left for the hospitals with only a extrapair of sweats in my hand because I thought I'd be sent home.
Make a list & he can throw it in the bag while you're in labor.
Also most labors start at night!

I did the same thing. I was thrilled about being able to shave properly.

Re: Dumb hospital bag/hospital stay question
I think I packed makeup but I'm not sure. I know I didn't put any on.
I felt AWFUL the day after I had DD, but that's bc I caught a stomach virus so I had NO SLEEP for about 48 hours.
I did blow my hair out before I went to the hospital, so it still looked decent when visitors came. Not good, but it would have looked a lot worse if I didn't blow it out.

Re: Dumb hospital bag/hospital stay question
I brought basic makeup items but didn't pack a blower dryer. My hair was less than fab in my pics but I didn't care.

Re: Dumb hospital bag/hospital stay question
I had a c/s but the next day I felt great and I wanted to get up and shower and put make-up on before visiting hours. IMO, it made me feel much better.

Re: Dumb hospital bag/hospital stay question
grabbed my make-up bag on the way out for my c-section
One tip, I always made sure I did my hair the day of my doctor appointments so I would have fresh hair "just in case"
