Dumb question about LIPA billing cycle
We have been living here since November and have gotten 2 LIPA bills....I am assuming our billing cycle is for 2 months. Does that make sense???? I am a little confused after reading the other post about the LIPA bill.

I've always been billed monthly by LIPA, so that post confused me as well!

We get billed every two months. If you go on their balanced billing plan, you pay every month.

I get billed every month but our meters are only read on even months. So on the odd months, my bill is estimated. This goes for Keyspan as well.

We are not on balanced billing, so I am assuming our meter is read every other month too.

we are on a 3 month billing cycle. don't know how it happened but that's how it was when we bought the house. we get bills in march, june, sept and dec. it's not balanced billing.
but we just got something in the mail a week ago that said they are doing away with 3 month billing and it will be every month from now on. i prefer the 3 month, but it's not a big deal.
