Dumb question... cooking pastina...
They only give you instructions for cooking the entire box...
Will it cook if I just mix boiling water into it and let it sit?
Otherwise, how do I cook just enough for a meal for Cailen?

Just boil the water and add however much you want to the boiling water. It cooks really fast. You just have to keep testing it.

I make it just like other pasta; boil a small pot of water, add how ever much pastina I think is good, let cook 6 minutes and strain it.

My question for you.....did he like it? I made it for Taylor a few weeks ago and she positively hated it! Those freakin stars were all over the place. I am going to reintroduce it again, but I want to know what Cailen's reaction to it was. Taylor loves penne, spaghetti, etc just not the pastina

I have to tell you my boys were ok with the pastina until i introduced other pasta and foods.. now they wont even try it! i think its the consistency i think they like to actually chew something.!
