Dutch Wonderland area....Can we wing it for 4 days?
Usually I am a planner of sorts...
We are going to the DW area for 4 days , figuring to do a day or 2 at DW itself and winging the rest with little side trips....So now I'm panicking-LOL
Going into this blindly but based on what I've read here it appears theres lots of little things to do around that area ....But I didn't print any stuff up at home like I normally would do...
Is there a plethora of brochures in the hotels and stuff ? Or like a Vistors Center type place

We just got back and didn't plan much except for DW. DW has a huge wall of pamphlets with activities in the area. We went to a farm called Cherry Crest. Didn't have great expectations but it was AWESOME. We spent over three hours there, so much to do. Just an FYI
Have fun, it really was an awesome trip. Enjoy it!!!!

You can kind of wing it. get the borchures at hotel like u said and ask the front desk to help you in regards to timing and distance. Not sure how old your kids are, but for ex. the train museum, we wanted to time it around lunch, etc. and knowing how far away it was was helpful. But yes, there is plenty to do there so you will have no prob. Have fun!

Cherry Crest Farms is one of the only things I DID print out ( I am secretly looking forward to that more than DW myself   )

Cherry Crest Farms is having free admission day on August 13th. So you may want to avoid it that day lol. I saw it on http://www.4kidsinpa.com (good site btw).

We are going for 4 days too - and I am looking forward to Cherry Crest more than DW too 
Last time we went it rained too much so we didn't make it.
We are also planning on doing

Strasburg Railroad

Are you planning on taking the RR to Cherry Crest ? For some reason I thought this was an option maybe ?

There is plenty to do and any hotel will have brochures in their lobby.
