East Coast Fertility Insurance Question
I am filling out the packet for my consult on Tuesday and I saw this...
"We will no accept insurance, except where we have a contact to do so with a particular insurance company. However, we will help you complete claim forms so that you can be reimbursed by your insurance carrier to the extent of their coverage."
"Insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company. We are not a party to this contract. We can not become involved in disputes between you and your carrier regarding deductibles, co-payments, non-covered charges, secondary insurance, and any other disputes. You are primarily responsible for the payment of your account."
Does this mean I have to pay upfront? I know they take my insurance bc I got their name from my insurance's website.
Is this how it is for most infertility dr's?? If not, and I do have to pay up front, I will be looking for another dr. I don't have the money, time, or patience to be filing claim forms. This whole process is stressful enough.
Thanks Kate

Re: East Coast Fertility Insurance Question
I have been going to East Coast Fertility and when I first called up, I asked which doctor took my insurance. I haven't had to pay other then co-pays.
